The Moon

A luminous curtain of floating clouds

The demure beauty with eyes downcast

A porcelain complexion of radiant light

A veil so sheen her face a contrast

To the dark tresses her round face enshroud

A full blossomed moon on a starless night

A child-like maiden such a delight

To a game of blind man’s buff

The mountains silhouette the
shimmering cloud

From dusk to dawn her companions a boisterous crowd

A play so enchanted a spellbound heart

A full blossomed moon on a starless night
